So make sure that you’re protecting your items and your car against break-ins by always having any valuables hidden from view. Put them in your trunk or hidden in the back seat, and cover them with a blanket, towel, or other covering for extra protection. If a potential thief can’t see expensive items from the outside, they’re less likely to try and break in!
Park In a Covered or Well-Lit Area
The safest place to park your car to prevent break-ins would be a garage or parking deck away from the street. If only street parking is available to you, try and park in the most well-lit area on the street that’s closest to your destination for the most protection.
